United Against Hate, an independent organization, held protests in Faizabad, Bhilai, Kanpur, Allahabad, Rudauli, Bhadohi, Amroha, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Patna demanding justice for Asifa Banu and Unnao survivor with the agenda that the fight against fascism and patriarchy should be intensified.

Asifa, an 8 year old Muslim girl was raped inside a temple in Kathua, Jammu for days before she was killed and dumped in a forest. Unnao survivor had earlier attempted suicide in front of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath demanding the arrest of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kuldeep Sengar. After protests intensified, Sengar was arrested yesterday and sent to 7 day Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody today.
