Explosion at Indian Restaurant in Mississauga Injures 15

Two men detonated an explosive device at an Indian restaurant in Mississauga, a city in the Canadian province of Ontario, injuring at least 15 people, of which 3 are critical.

According to media reports, police, after receiving a call about the incident, cordoned off the area, following which a dog and bomb squad were deployed there.

Eyewitnesses say two men entered the restaurant, after which three explosions were heard.

Police said one of the suspected perpetrators is a male in his mid-20s. His face was covered with a mask and head with a hoodie. The other man was wearing a similar hoodie and his face was covered too.

The attackers reportedly fled the restaurant immediately after the blast.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.

Further details are awaited.
