Congress leader gets life imprisonment in 1984 Anti- Sikh Riots case

The Delhi High Court on Monday convicted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for criminal conspiracy in 1984 Anti- Sikh riots case and sentenced him to life term imprisonment. The court asked him to surrender by 31 December. The Anit – Sikh riots broke out in 1984, after the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
