Provide protection to Swami Agnivesh, asks Delhi High Court

The Delhi High Court asked the police to provide security to activist Swami Agnivesh. Swami Agnivesh had filed complaints against members of the BJP, for attacking him in Pakur, Jharkhand.

On July 17 Swami Agnivesh was thrashed by workers of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) when he was in Jharkhand’s Pakur to attend an event. They were protesting against Agnivesh and were raising slogans like, “Agnivesh Go Back!!”

And on August 17 he was allegedly attacked by BJP workers in Delhi.
