Jana Sena party (JSP) leader and film star Pawan Kalyan said that he would support Mayawati’s candidature for prime minister while he was having a joint press conference with BSP supremo. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has stitched an alliance with actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party (JSP) which has a strong presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
“We want to see Behenji Mayawati as the PM of this great nation. We want her experience and administrative calibre to guide this country. This is our agenda; we will do our best to make sure she gets all the support from both the Telugu speaking states,” he said.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati accused the BJP-led central government on Thursday of failing on all fronts. she also claimed that people from all sections, including the poor and traders, were unhappy with the Modi government in the last five years. BSP president and former UP Chief Minister Mayawati on Wednesday promised to give Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh which both the Congress and the BJP have failed to grant so far.
Ms Mayawati said in UP BSP-Samajwadi Party and its allies were all set to sweep the elections teaching the BJP a fitting lesson. She said in other States also the parties which subscribe to their ideology would come together post-election.
