Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said Pakistan cannot get a better Indian PM than Narendra Modi who had allowed the ISI to visit the Pathankot air base, and is implementing Pakistan’s agenda. He made the remarks while he was attending a poll rally in South Goa. Campaigning for candidate Elvis Gomes, Kejriwal targeted Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.

Kejriwal also questioned the timing of the February 14 Pulwama terror attack, which he said was executed ahead of the elections. It was while referring to Pak PM Imran Khan’s statement that he thinks there would be a better chance of peace talks with India if the BJP under Narendra Modi wins the Lok Sabha elections, Aravind Kejriwal went on to question the timing of the Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed. Pointing to the central government’s reaction to terror attacks in the last two years, Kejriwal accused Modi and Shah of polarising the society as well.

“Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan says that Narendra Modi should become the PM of India once again. His statement came against the backdrop of a war-like situation that existed between both the countries a few days back. And Imran Khan wants Modi to be the PM of India again,” Kejriwal said while addressing the AAP workers in South Goa.

“Pakistan will never get a better PM than Modi. He is poisoning India. What Pakistan could not do in 70 years, Modi and Shah said in five years by dividing Indian society,” he added.

While addressing the rally in Lohia Maidan in Goa, he also said that if BJP is voted back to power, its president Amit Shah would become Union home minister, which would spell doom for the country. “If Amit Shah is made the country’s home minister, there would be mob lynchings across the country. If there are three mob lynchings in Goa, tourists will stop coming to the state. You can imagine what will happen to the state’s economy then.”

He also alleged that the BJP wants to stay in power in perpetuity, following in the footsteps of German dictator Adolf Hitler.
