Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi challenged Narendra Modi to fight the elections based on demonetisation, GST and the false promises he had made to the youth of the country.
“Fight the last two phases of Lok Sabha elections on demonetisation, Goods and Services Tax, crimes against women and those false promises which you made to the nation’s youth,” she said while campaigning for Sheila Dikshit in Delhi.
Priyanka also claimed that she knew Delhi better and asked how can someone who shifted to Delhi 5 years back, and who remain confined to his own residence know about the needs of people.
“He is destroying all institutions and they are playing politics in name of religion. Delhi is the heart of the nation. Raise your voice,” she demanded. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal said that Priyanka is wasting her time campaigning for Congress in Delhi. He also complained that Priyanka Gandhi and her brother Rahul Gandhi are not campaigning in states where the Congress is in a direct contest with the BJP.
