All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi joined the Hindu terror controversy backing Kamal Haasan. He asked, “How can the killer of Gandhi be called great? Who killed the Father of the nation?”
The statement came a day after actor turned politician Kamal Haasan said, “Independent India’s first extremist was a Hindu. It begins there. India should remain equal and harmonious. The tricolour should remain the same and that’s the wish of every good Indian.,” referring to Nathuram Godse.
He also predicted that BJP will lose the elections and added that desperation can already be seen on the faces of BJP leaders.
“Desperation is there to be seen on faces of the Prime Minister and other BJP leaders. The results will not be on their expected lines. They wrongly assumed that losses in UP would be compensated in West Bengal and Odisha which is not going happen. Everywhere in India, they are going to lose seats,” he said.
He also said that regional parties will play a crucial role in the general elections. “Till yesterday nobody knew Federal Front. Today they are recognizing it as an alternative. This will be good for the country,” he said referring to KCR’s meetings with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and DMK leader M.K. Stalin.
