West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee continues her attack on BJP, by stating anyone who clashes with the Trinamool Congress, will be completely demolished. She was addressing an Eid gathering at Kolkata.
“Jo humse takrayega, who choor choor ho jayega (Anyone who takes on us will be demolished to bits),” she said. She also compared the rise of BJP in Bengal to a sunrise. As the sun rises in the morning, it is too harsh initially. Similarly, BJP has risen by capturing EVMs and they will also go down in the same way she said.
“Hindus stand for renunciation (tyaag), Muslims for integrity (imaan), Christians for love (pyaar) and Sikhs for sacrifice (balidan). This is our beloved Hindustan and we will protect it,” Mamata added.
TMC also criticised BJP for mixing religion and politics. The BJP had on Monday said Bengal is the land of Maha Kali and the party’s slogans in the state will be “Jai Shri Ram” and “Jai Maha Kali”.
“They (BJP) have decided to change the slogan from Jai Shri Ram to Jai Maha Kali as the TRP of Ram is on a downward slide. They are mixing religion with politics,” said Abhishek, who is also the nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
