“Public transport systems are suspended, Airport is shut down, shops are closed. We don’t have access to adjacent cities that have proper functioning airports. We are also running out of food supplies. We will have to starve from tomorrow. We don’t know what to do. We have to somehow reach home,” the students are seen to be saying in the video.

Students also said that they were contacted by the Indian embassy, though they did not provide any clarity with regard to the situation. The students also said that one of the students was taken to hospital for a check-up which escalated the panic in the campus.

“There is a single shop which is open, but it is very crowded. We are scared to go out. Please help us. We are scared,” they said.

Three gorges university is located at around 300 kms away from Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak.
