Yichang:

Amidst lockdown in Wuhan city, 86 Indian students of Three Gorges University in Yichang City are stuck with nowhere to go. The students have sought help from the Indian embassy to fly them back home. The city is under lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak which has infected over 4520 people globally and claimed over 106 lives.

Responding to The Woke Journal, Shahas one of the students from Kerala who is in the university said, “Canteen is now open. However, it is crowded. WE had contacted the embassy asking for vehicle service to adjacent cities that have functional airports. We have sent our details according to their instructions and are waiting for a response.”

In an earlier video, students had said that they are running out of food supplies.

“56 cases have been reported from this area alone. We are scared. We need immediate help,” the students said.
