A circular was issued on Friday by the apex court saying all appeals must be listed for hearing not later than six months, no matter if the appeal is ready or not, a significant departure from the past when appeals from high courts did not come up for hearing for years.
According to a circular issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation: "Universal screening of all passengers coming in flights directly from Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore besides the flights from China and Hong Kong shall be ensured immediately once they step out of the specific identified aerobridge.
