Dismissing the reports about the extension of the current lock-down, the Centre said that they are baseless rumours. India has entered the 6th day of its 21-day lockdown. 1071 cases have been reported so far in the country out of which 942 are being treated, 29 people have died, 99 have recovered, and one person has migrated.
Addressing the press, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba said that till now no such plans to extend the lockdown has been decided.

“I’m surprised to see such reports, there is no such plan of extending the lockdown,” he said.
