As the country begins the seventh day of lockdown, a total of 1251 people are reported to be infected with the virus. On Monday alone, 227 people were reported to be infected with 32 deaths.

Kerala has recorded the most number of positive cases with numbers crossing 202, followed by Maharashtra at 198. Delhi recorded 87 confirmed cases of Covid-19, while, 82 positive cases were reported from Uttar Pradesh.

Two deaths are also reported from West Bengal and Kerala taking India’s toll to 32.

According to the data obtained by John Hopkins University, the virus has so far infected 7,86,228 people with 37,820 deaths across 178 countries.
