Kalaburagi, Karnataka:

BJP corporator Vithal Jadhav demanded the local administration to remove the signboard of Kalaburagi City Corporation where the Corporation name was written in three languages, Kannada English and in Urdu — at the civic within 24 hours. He said that the signboard was placed there by“some miscreants at midnight like thieves”. He said the policy was adopted district in-charge Minister Priyank Kharge for appeasing minorities. He said the act of including Urdu in signboard is illegal and that they would intensify the protest if no action is taken.
